How to get there

From Florence: (39km approx 45 minutes by car ):

Take the motorway A1 exit at Firenze –Impruneta, take the superstrada Firenze-Siena exit at Tavernelle Val di Pisa. Continue for 5km until you reach the village. At the first roundabout turn right towards Montespertoli or Certaldo. Keep going through the next three roundabouts. At the fourth roundabout take the right, direction Marcialla or ‘Tutte le direzioni’ until you reach the village of Marcialla. From the main square which you find on the left take the road past the church with the belltower. Keep going for 3,5km along the road ‘Tavolese’ on the right no.2 you find La Certaldina Casa Vacanze.

From Rome: (280km approx 3 hours by car ):

Take the motorway A1 exit at Valdichiana turn right and follow the superstrada Siena- Firenze, exit at Tavernelle Val di Pisa. Continue for 5km until you reach the village. At the first roundabout turn right towards Montespertoli or Certaldo. Keep going through the next three roundabouts. At the fourth roundabout take the right, direction Marcialla or ‘Tutte le direzioni’ until you reach the village of Marcialla. From the main square which you find on the left take the road past the church with the belltower. Keep going for 4km along the road ‘Tavolese’, on the right no.2 you find La Certaldina Casa Vacanze. ( After ‘il Castello di Tavolese’ it is the third villa).

From Pisa airport: (82km approx, 1 hour by car):

After exiting the airport turn right and take the dual carriageway Firenze-Livorno (Fi-Pi-Li) direction Firenze. Keep going, exit at EMPOLI OVEST. Follow signs for Castelfiorentino, Siena , Certaldo (SS429). On reaching Certaldo take the direction Fiano - Montespertoli (Via Fiorentina), go over a small bridge and round a curve, as soon as the road starts to go up turn right into a narrow road direction Marcialla 7 – Nebbiano (Via Tavolese), follow this road for about 3 km. La Certaldina can be found on the left 250 metres after Restaurant “La Capannina”.
